Within the past few weeks Heinz Bartelmuss was admitted to two distinguished organisations: The Austrian Chapter of the “Club of Rome” and the executive board of the “Industry Federation of Styria”.
1. The “Club of Rome” was founded 40 years ago by the Italian entrepreneur Aurelio Peccei. In 1972 the famous book “The Limits of Growth” was published. The “Club of Rome” is one of the World’s most important “think tanks”, which engages in questions of sustainability and the future of humanity and the planet earth. During a conference held from June 14 – 17, 2008, the actual work program “New Ways for the Development of the World” was laid out. Members primarily come from business, science and art communities.
2. On Wednesday June 25, 2008, the Industry Federation of Styria has elected its new executive committee. Heinz Bartelmuss became a member of the board.
Heinz Bartelmuss, together with his brother Klaus, is Managing Director of the IBS Paper Performance Group and thus strengthens the board's base of authorities from the Pulp and Paper Industry.
As a non-party organisation the Industry Federation of Styria develops future scenarios for the industrial competitiveness of Austria. In times of political standstill on a federal and a provincial level the Industry Federation of Styria sees its job in preparing policies for the entire society. The action plan “Austria 2020 – Performance with Responsibility” contains guidelines for a competitive, prosperous and socially responsible Austria. Topics such as education, research and environment are being extensively discussed. As such, the Industry Federation of Styria is not only a lobbying body for industrial interests, but even more it is a future oriented creator and partner for business and social policy strategies and decisions.

IBS PPG is your specialist for tailor-made solutions
The experts of the IBS Paper Performance Group are taking all of your problems seriously, continuously striving to develop a tailor-made solution for every individual demand. For instance, one of our customers (producer of newsprint-paper) had a problem with edge trim control on his Pick-up felt, causing substantial fibre contamination and frequent sheet breaks. After an in-depth analysis of the problem, IBS-PPG recommended the installation of an “Edge Trim Suction Box” in this particular position of the Pick-Up felt. The application of this product on the drive side prevented the fibre build-up completely. Due to its convincing performance the customer ordered another “Edge Trim Suction Box” for the tending side of this machine shortly after.
The experts of the IBS Paper Performance Group are ready to assist you with your every demand.
