Felt & Wire run-off alarmsSystem advantages:

Felt- and Wire run-off alarms are designed to detect when a felt or wire starts to run-off. Most Felt- and Wire run-off alarms are two-stage alarms.
Stage 1: ALARM
The first stage alarms the operator that felt/wire tends to run-off the machine.
Stage 2: STOP OF MACHINE
The second stage should be connected to the machine DCS to stop the drive of the fabric to avoid further damage.
One Felt-/Wire run-off alarm includes two limit switches (either mechanical or inductive) mounted on an adjustable support stand, which allows to adapt the sensing position in horizontal and vertical direction.
The Felt-/Wire run-off alarm has to be installed on tender- and drive side of the machine.
