Pneumatic Piston GuidesThe JUD Pneumatic Piston Guides are designed for use in wire, press and dryer section of papermachines. All types of Piston Guides have a compact, enclosed design and are equipped with Viton sealings to withstand temperatures of up to 150 °C. All Guides can be supplied with integrated support slides to allow accurate manual guide positioning.The Piston Guides are controlled either via the direct rotary JUD Control Valve SV 90 or the indirect cam-type Control Valve SV 95 or SV 95/5. The carriage of the Piston Guide moves linear on roller bearings or on sliding columns and carries the guide roll. All moving parts are well protected and enclosed. The pneumatic cylinder is mounted external to allow easy access. All of these guides are supplied with mechanical feedback unit for highly accurate tracking results even in the most demanding applications. In the case of lost air supply the guide maintain in the actual position via stop-valves.
The proven family of guides with the double action spring that returns the guide to center in the case of lost air supply. All moving parts are well protected and completely enclosed in the housing. The piston of the pneumatic guide carries the roll and moves within the cylinder housing.
