The Load Cell is installed on drive- or tender side of a fixed felt-/wire roll and measures the force applied by the felt-/wire tension. The heart of the system is a train gauge that measures a signal proportional to the applied force.
The Bridge Amplifier Card F1015 or Intelligent Bridge Sensor Module F 1016M converts the signal of the load cell with knowledge of the machine parameters (felt-/wire width, max. felt-/wire tension, wrap angles and mounting position of load cell, nominal load of load cell) into a N/mm or PLI-signal.
The Intelligent Bridge Sensor Module F 1016M can be pre-set with machine-parameters individually via JUD Field Communication Software FCS 1016 or via JUD Operation Panel OP 1016. The calculated tension value is available either as analog signal or as digital signal for profibus-technnology.
