Manual Tension Control

The Felt-/Wire Tensioner are operated manually via pushbutton operation. It is possible to tension and release the felt and to make a one-side seam adjustment when the Tensioner is equipped with an automatic clutch.
The JUD Control Panel controls the limit switches of the Tensioner mechanics end positions.

The operator needs to know when felt / wire has to be tensioned or released. This means that the actual tension in felt / wire has to be measured by hand or with hand-tensiometer or can be measured automatically with a Load Cell to be displayed via a tension display unit.
Maintaining a constant felt-/wire tension in the fabric even under different conditions at the machine is the sole responsibility of the operator.
