Radial Tensioner TR 708 with two worm gear boxes connected by a covered cross shaft. Stretcher arms are pivoted by a lever system connected to gliding shoes running on profiled beams within the housing. Gliding shoes are driven by acme thread spindles. Pneumatic clutch for one-side adjustment. Complete system is fully enclosed.
Radial Tensioner TR 901 / TR 902 with two spindle jack units connected by a cross shaft. Stretcher arms are pivoted by the spindle jack units. Manual clutch for one-side adjustment. This type of Radial Tensioner can be individually adapted to different mounting positions and loads. Showers and doctor assemblies can be easily fitted to the stretcher arms.
The Radial Tensioners can be operated manually via pushbutton operation (F 113-2) or with the fully automatic JUD Tension Control which maintains a pre-set wire tension and controls the function of the Tensioner.
