Edge doctor systems

Due to production factors, the coated film must be wider than the sheet in film-press applications. As a result, excessively applied coating media accrues at the edges of the rolls which needs to be removed so as not to impede production operations. The sharp edge doctors from Horst Sprenger work with a uniform contact pressure, meaning edge areas are kept absolutely coating-free.
