YOUR PROFILE

• Technical education (e.g. electrical engineering, mechatronics, automation or computer engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of camera technology, optics, lighting, image processing, and PC, server and network systems.
• A hands-on approach; experience in industrial machine vision, camera/inspection systems and hardware/software integration is an advantage.
• Structured working style, enthusiasm for testing and troubleshooting, and strong communication skills.
• Very good German and English skills and willingness to travel internationally for business.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate, test and integrate cameras, optics, lighting, servers and other hardware components into existing systems.
• Gather technical requirements, specify solutions and coordinate the further development of our camera and inspection systems.
• Sample testing: test customer and material samples under realistic operating conditions, evaluate results and document findings.
• Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), customer trials, technical fault analyses and commissioning of customized solutions.
• Collaborate with suppliers, technology partners and international development, sales and service
  teams.
• Assess the technical feasibility of customer requirements, ensure system documentation and
  handovers, and monitor emerging technologies.
